Moe is still in waiting to be trained. once the phone bill is paid we are going to look into classes again. Andy has gotten a job with discount cab. Still waiting for paper work for disability to come through. We have moved and have much to our delight have to new roommates Kat and Ash. We had to give Monty away so he is no longer with us but we have seen some photo of him and he seems to be much happier with his new owner. Hopefully soon Andy will be able to start hormones and get his name changed.

update
Hi y'all
Just wanted to update you all on the craziness around here we finally found a non profit animal trainer for Moe, Moe is a six month old German shepherd chow chow hybrid mix. Moe was adopted specifically for a mobility service dog. He is eager to learn new commands daily.
He in just a few days he has learned sit how to open and close doors and pick and carry a pill bottle. we have a long way to go be for he can go and try to pass his certification test but he is working hard .
Andy is STILL looking for a job, he got an interview but now they seem to be giving him the run around so we will see. We got to good to an awesome concert in early October with our best friend Amanda

Just a rant about idiots and my SDIT
I swear people do not know how to handle being around a service animal! Moe is doing a good job when we take him out, but it is the other people we have to worry about. We get to reactions from people (either they are terrified of him or they want to play). Well that is all fine and good. But when I am trying to get his attention for something and people are constantly petting him without permission, it makes both of our jobs harder. And then there are the morons at Walmart.... I swear half the employees don't speak a word of English. And the ones that do would not know a service animal if it came up and bit them on the leg! They can ask two and only two questions. But they keep asking me where his vest is. If you look at the ADA website, it says that vests are NOT REQUIRED! We went back today with Moe wearing his brand new bandanna and they could clearly see that it said that he was in training and they still asked me if he is a service animal! I thought to myself` "Are these people for real?!" After we finally got in, Andy and I were shopping and someone stepped on Moe's tail, and then gives HIM a dirty look! And this happens every time we go there lately, someone either steps on him or kicks him or runs over his foot or tail with the cart. LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING DUMB ASS. Yes, he is a 4 month old puppy. But he is still a LARGE dog and kinda hard to miss!

HAIR!
Hey all, just a quick update on the stooges I live with. Andy is starting to get a little peach fuzz on his upper lip, sideburns & chin. We are really excited about this. In reality, it just goes to show that he is indeed my MAN. Moe the dog is still in the beginning stages of his training for a service dog. We have been trying to get him boots to protect his feet from the summer heat. They have been nearly impossible to find. The cheap ones we saw are not good for heat. The mid-grade ones are either too big or too small. The more expensive one are almost 60.00, which is fine if you have it. He is still a great dog and is working hard. Monty the little kitten is not so little anymore. He is growing like a weed and is really cute and playful.

Welcome to the family!

Hi there! My name is Carol. I live in an apartment in Phoenix, AZ with my family. My family consists of myself and my own personal three stooges. Allow me to introduce you!

First off we have my Fiance, Andy. He is a FtM transgender. That means he was born female
but never quite felt it, so now he is taking steps to become male.

Next we have the cat. His full name is Montgomery Python, but we call him Monty. Yes, Monty Python!

And, lastly, we have the dog. His full name is Mozart, but we just call him Moe cause he is a little stooge! He is a 2 month old GSD/lab mix that we are training to be a service dog.
Between those three, I have my hands full most of the time. I will try to update this blog as much as possible to tell you about our various adventures!
